t's incredible, but among professionals, I always find a lot of confusion when it comes to Reach and Impression. Yet these are two completely different metrics. I'll try to clarify a bit. Reach is the number of unique individuals or accounts who have had the opportunity to see a certain social object. It is a clear data in the sense that it considers the person and not the times they have seen the content, perhaps from multiple devices. Usually the platforms make it visible only to those who produced the published content (for example Facebook as shown in the image). Impression represents USA Phone Number the number of times that a certain social object (post, tweet, photo, video) has had the opportunity to be seen by a certain audience. It expresses a potential value, we could say gross, in the sense that it does not take into account the frequency of the message published, the methods of viewing it, the duplication of the audience. Example: if brand If it is then retweeted by an account that has 50,000 followers, the number of impressions will rise to 250,000. In Blogmeter's Social Analytics we have also introduced the concept of Unique Impressions which does not consider audience duplications. So in the case of the example it will have a value of 100,000 because that is the number of followers of brand Similar Posts: facebook visualizationGuide to the new Facebook Insights: Posts facebook insights your fansGuide to the new Facebook Insights: People linkedin insights engagementGuide to the new LinkedIn Analytics for measuring company pages tweet analyticsThe new Tweet Activity Dashboard.
